3. Data acquisition, processing and transmission Lab:

  • Simulation platform for broadcast transmissions: provides connection between a Matlab-Simulink simulator and data acquisition equipment, through a DDE (Dynamical Data Exchange); the platform can be used in all types of applications involving Matlab experiments;
  • Distributed platform for parallel processing: it can be used for large scale systems modeling, such as scale-free systems. It is of cluster type, with a powerful server (Xeon 3.0Ghz, Hard disk : 2 x 9,1 GB, RAID 3L, RAM: 128 Mb, Ethernet Adapter), and 6 processing units (configuration: Core 1,8 GHz, FSB, SCSI Controller, 4 x 1 Gb RAM), with dedicated software for task synchronization;
